Charity Bike Ride

The Cloisters Bike Ride this year raised money for the Heart of Kent Hospice and St Mary’s.  The Bike Ride took place on the May Bank Holiday Monday, and some 500 cyclists enjoyed the delightful scenery of Kent’s North Downs in this area of outstanding natural beauty.

There were three levels:    Annual Bike Ride

  • “The Challenge” – 44 miles – a lovely ride on many unknown lanes
  • “The Classic” – A great ride that includes a short 1 in 4 hill
  • “The Cruise” – Quiet lanes especially suitable for the occasion cyclist and for families with younger children.

A wonderful day out with full back up, refreshments, a ploughman’s lunch and tea with scrumptious homemade cakes.   Check this website in 2020 for information about future charity bike rides.
